The 2023 class of honorees were celebrated on May 2 at the Overton Park Shell.

Presenting (drum roll) one of those honorees … Shannon Briggs, Founder, Campfire Collective

Shannon Briggs launched Campfire Collective with the goal of uplifting community-based organizations that focus on celebrating and supporting the city.

She and her team are achieving this important work through marketing and public relations campaigns with nonprofits, small businesses, and community organizations. She commends her talented team for their incredible ideas and passion for the work they do.

Briggs’ 40 Under 40 nominator expressed why she’s deserving of this honor: “Shannon’s stellar career achievements and passion for her community make her a perfect representative of the best Memphis has to offer. She’s made outstanding contributions both in her field and her community service.”
